Hi, I'm new to the Akai world. I need a sampler that holds up well on the road. Just need to trigger some drum loops and other sounds live. I've always used my K2000 RS and a iomega zip drive but have had off and on problems with corrupted samples getting loaded. Recently bought new memory from Sweetwater and that worked for several months. Anyway, I'm giving up and moving to Akai 'cause I hear it's more stable and reliable. Which model is best for simple loading and live triggering? I would love to be able to use my Kurzweil disc to avoid having to resample all my stuff. Is that possible? Thanks for the help.
