If it worked before, I don't think it'd be a processor on the main board. From what I've seen with various electronic problems, it's rarely a solid state problem, more of an electrical or mechanical problem. If you cannot see a display, make sure the floppy drive connector is properly seated; for the s1000, the power up routine goes to the floppy drive before it gets to the main board's OS. --- In akaiS1000S1100Samplers@yahoogroups.com, "PeWe" <ha-pewe@...> wrote: > > Hello ! > > >>> > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: ava_style > To: akaiS1000S1100Samplers@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Wednesday, January 17, 2007 12:14 AM > Subject: [akaiS1000S1100Samplers] My "new" s1100 doesn't work, HELP! > > >>> > Hi, > Just bought myself a s1100 in great condition, maxed out! > When I got to the studio to test it, it doesn't work!! > The guy who sold it is a reliable dude, so I called him up and told > him about this.
