The backlight was bought at http://www.backlights.co.uk/ . Fast and reliable service. They also have good installation instructions on- line. Well, regarding the Zip drive, the one installed is a SCSI Zip drive, not ide. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think it is possible to use an ide drive in an Akai S1000.
