Hi,

I contacted Akai recently for some for my 2nd user S1000 and they say they don't supply them anymore, haven't come across any on eBay either - hope you have better luck.

RE: SCSI board - I'm waiting to hear back from Masterbits in Germany as to their stock of Mutec boards. Will post back as soon as I get a reply. The card in mine appears to be busted, at least on the external side of the interface.... :-/

All the best, Andy H.

Sorry, can't help you with it. Look on ebay for the scsi card, or better
yet, buy a new old akai sampler.often cheaper;-)

this has obviously been a while but im new here and browsing around a bit in the old posts.. i have an s-3200xl with a dead screen and the eb-16 efx card pulled and sold, but it does have rack ears and other parts in case someone else here stumbles across this and is in need of something let me know im not looking to screw anyone or for a profit even(already made that selling the efx card) just looking to help... so if youre interested in the rack ears(not sure if they are compatible but the s-3200 is the same size and almost a spitting image of the 1000) and think they would work for the s-1000 let me know id gladly part with them...
