Can I use any kind of floppy disks and just format them? My Sl000 will be arriving this week so I can't just try the one's I have right now. The ones I have were for my old computer. I have 2 imation 2HD IBM formatted floppy and I also have 3 Sony HD Macintosh format floppys.

Yes, to my knowledge , from memory, the 2HD disks are best, and I think you can use HD disks as well. The only difference is that the 2HD uses both sides of the disk, and the S1000 drive is a stabdard double sided Floppy Drive. Best place to check is the S1000 manual. Hello Tehron, sorry for late reply, but i have been travelling. Again from memory, I don't think the formatting is a problem. No doubt you have the sampler by now and you have tried the disks. You can't do any harm to the disk drive. Let me know how it's gone. regards Robert
