S-1000 110 to 220 V

S-1000 110 to 220 V

2005-10-21 by mircoland

Hello to all the members,
I have purchased a second hand S-1000 from US and I need to change
from 110 V (60 Hz) to 220 (50 Hz). I'd prefer not to use an external
power adapter.
I don't have the service manual.
Can you help me? Is it simple?
Thanx in advance!

M.

No one has a service manual unfortunally, these are not to find in the web.
If you´re from germany, this is the service for AKAI.
Maybe they have a PSU used, - S-1000 parts are very rare these days.

If you have an original PSU it´s relatively easy to replace.
I have a S-1100 here. It has a fault on the digi-board. Everything else is o.k., PSU, DA-cards, FX-board, Memory etc.
Maybe I´ll sell these parts or the whole machine.
Contact the link above and ask for orig. PSU or compatibility of S-1100 and S-1000 PSU.
