Re : the pictures in photos

Dear Group! I was looking around at the photos and noticed on one of frankgovaerts pics. (picture no2). In the bottom right hand cornor there's a capacitor connected to the "chassie" next to the memory board (i guess) Why? I have a unit but there is no capacitor, should i put one there?
