New Member Alert:
Mangled cv (all famous names omitted)
Guitar playing, Hammond and Rhodes playing ex touring SoundMan (older chap) having
missed hands-on sampling first time round
(while busy with Digital Multitracks, Synchronisers and Large Consoles in expensive
studios)
now getting up to speed. EMU III was first sampler, then EIIIxp.

MIDI experienced on PC, Synth background, currently repairing guitar amps and old
keyboards.

Current computer setups: PC -everything before XP (dos 3.11 to W2000)
mac - most things up to iMac (os6 to 9.2 and OSX on iMac
Synth Patch Librarian Explorer first class. I bought them all! (up to SoundDiver)

I have a working S1100EX with a photocopy manual. When I get round to scanning it in, I
will explore the possibility of posting it to this site if no-one objects.

The HD error message is normally incorrect ID setting.<disk> <f5>.
It could be that you blew the fuse (SF1)on the SCSI card (L6029C55010 413539J PC SCSI)

The question is, does anyone know of a way of accessing the S1100EX from a S3200?
If I load a programme into the EX via the S1100, then power down the 1100, connect the
S3200 and power up (using the latest os floppy as I have a large EMUIII library I mostly
use), I can play out the programme, but can't adjust anything, no mix page access etc.

I would like to make S1100/3000 compatible CDs from my libraries too, and have bought
Chicken Systems translator to do this, but I'm having trouble finding enough time to get
started. Trainee required, no wages offerred. West London (fat chance)
