Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

Hello,

I have an S1000 sampler with the original scsi interface board and I
was wondering if I could solder a header on the board to install an
internal hd? There are through-holes on the board as well as the same
tatalumn capacitor and diode that are used on the external header. I
just can't seem to see if the resistor packs are used the same way.
