As I
am aware there is no simple way forward to control parameters in Akai using midi
controller messages....guys correct me if I am wrong.
I
think it can be changed using sysex only, but I do not think Evolution can send
them.
All I
have found some time ago is a trick page describing how to control filter's
cutoff using pitchbender wheel message.
As I
remember it was done by smart setting of lfo2, but I am not 100%
sure....
Now
digging in my Favourites and let you know about the result.

I was sequencing my Akai with Logic before but I just purchased an Alesis MMT-8 along with
an Evolution MIDI keyboard and I'm trying to figure out how to control stuff like filters with
the knobs on the MIDI controller. There are eight knobs and I'd like to be able to assign them
to different functions, like if I want to change one samples pitch on the fly or filter in a
sample. Thanks!
