sample transfer from s 1000 hd to mac

hello there,
this is my first visit to the group. i recently get an old (beauty) s 1000hd with a full hard disc 
with samples and programs. culd somebody help me with an advice how to transfer all 
(programs/samples) to my mac (2.4 Ghz intel)?

If you have a PCI Mac you can add a scsi card and attach
the internal drive to the card and use the unix command
"dd" to take an image of the drive. You can then take that
disk image and extract the contents with CD Extract or burn
it and import it into a soft sampler. I won't get into
details on how to do the above as this is all well
documented on the web.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
