wow! i actually kind of understand what you're talking about for the 
first time! ;) i've been giving it a try and seeing since the 
accumulator UI was added, with Colin's explanation..
i love the way a lazy erm..musician like me can create an amazing 
developing melody just by using my 'i wonder what this button does'-
instinct :D  it gets pretty bizarre when you try these kind of 
acc./mask tricks with the "set direction & tbase" events though..
