I quite enjoyed the Regelwerk despite some flaws. It shares the same
OS but many of the features are not accessible except via some s/w.
Imagine, loading up an editor just to change direction! It was so
close to being excellent so any OS hack would be interesting...

Understandable. For me the ability to improvise a 2+ hour live gig
from scratch is the most liberating thing in years. I could never have
done this with the Polymorph, for example. And with a very slight bit
of work I can get things happening that pootle along all by
themselves, making little changes, all programmed in and controllable.
Makes some of my sequences far more interesting than they used to be.
