But Alesis seems to be trying to bend over backwards to be flexible as far as fixing units under warranty. You might try to argue them into making it a warranty repair. They told me that if my Ion (fails diagnostics, but does not exhibit the infamous self edit problem) EVER exhibits this problem they would fix it under warranty. This came from the manager of tech support.
