Gang!

just spotted a very cool feature of the new arpeggiator. Spose you
have a tbase Aux in your pattern at, say, step 9. As you make short
arpeggios - up to 8 notes - this step is never reached. So the tbase
set in the pattern pootles along happily as it should. 
Then when you wanna alter the speed - make it go twice as fast maybe -
just play a chord with 9 notes and whoopee there ya go. It reaches the
step and activates the tbase Aux. 

Course the trick can be used to activate all sorts of things - program
changes, controller tweaks, activation of other tracks etc. Hmm,
wonder if it selects a new part, what happens to the pattern I'm
recording? Must go find out.... 8-)
