YEAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA YEAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JOHOEEEEEEEEEEE JIPPIE !!!!!!!

:-)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Did I already say I like it that this feature is implemented? :-)

Thank you *so* much Colin. Now this machine will be UNBEATABLE for me
by any other one on the market.

Bye bye Q+! :-)))

You should not have said that... :-))) But first I have to play with it!

Gang!

just spotted a very cool feature of the new arpeggiator. Spose you
have a tbase Aux in your pattern at, say, step 9. As you make short
arpeggios - up to 8 notes - this step is never reached. So the tbase
set in the pattern pootles along happily as it should.
Then when you wanna alter the speed - make it go twice as fast maybe -
just play a chord with 9 notes and whoopee there ya go. It reaches the
step and activates the tbase Aux.

Course the trick can be used to activate all sorts of things - program
changes, controller tweaks, activation of other tracks etc. Hmm,
wonder if it selects a new part, what happens to the pattern I'm
recording? Must go find out.... 8-)

Good eh?

It probably won't be that exciting - if the part change causes a new
pattern to be selected on the track you are editing, the arpeggiating
pattern will no longer be played. You'll still be editing it as normal -
same as if you edit a pattern from playlist edit that isn't playing. I
suppose that could be useful for setting up an arpeggio silently...

I'm thinking about making the ARP mode available from play mode, same as
for REC, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to let you capture an arpeggio
over multiple patterns in the same way you can record over patterns
selected by the playlist.

Cheers,
Colin f

Yeh, exactly that. I keep thinking I may find a way of fooling this
little thing - but it's too darn clever and always just does the right
thing.

Golly...
