It probably won't be that exciting - if the part change causes a new
pattern to be selected on the track you are editing, the arpeggiating
pattern will no longer be played. You'll still be editing it as normal -
same as if you edit a pattern from playlist edit that isn't playing. I
suppose that could be useful for setting up an arpeggio silently...

I'm thinking about making the ARP mode available from play mode, same as
for REC, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to let you capture an arpeggio
over multiple patterns in the same way you can record over patterns
selected by the playlist.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
