I have FPD files (Scheffer panel design format), and other notes on the correct layout dimensions, but the measurements in the FPD files can get a bit erratic because of the rounding errors in the conversion between imperial and metric values. I have reviewed the values, and re-created the file in native metric sizes, and am currently waiting for a new panel using this design which will be used to validate the layout I want to have manufactured for production P3s. When I get this panel back, and verify it is as it should be, I'll post the FPD as the final version. Anyone else is free to make their own case, but if I get 'official' cases made for ready-built units, I'm also likely start shipping the case as part of the kit, so an unofficial case may have only a limited market among existing kit builders who don't yet have a case, or would like a more professional one. > as soon as i get them, I'll make some drawings and I'll put them > onto the internet (for a discussion or so.......) Or for having your ideas 'borrowed' ;-) > the thing with the L-shaped rack mount sounds nice but why do u want some wood? > metal L things on wood just hurts...... The wooden end-cheeks and L-brackets will be interchangeable - the main body of the case will have a couple of threaded holes at each side, that can either have the wood, or L-brackets attached. > i'm thinking about a little LED lamp, is this useful? If you have glow-in-the-dark key caps, a UV LED would be nice ;-) Cheers, Colin f ________________________________________________ Message sent using UebiMiau 2.7.2
