> I personally don't use X to prevent transposition but I would use > it if, instead, it protected from accumulation (of any kind). hi kids, personally i do use the X to prevent transposition/note-accumulation as you can use this for neat transposing melodies, but i've also come across the need/wish to prevent velocity or auxD accumulation, much as Stoffel says. btw the 'repeat'-events are cool! saves me having to use several patterns to do drum rolls & hihat patterns 'n' stuff..a nice trick is to set the 'repeat'N value to it's maximum, and then playing around with note lengths to have the repeats drop in at will; setting note length to 3 will give you 4 repeats, note length at 4 gives you a quick triplet and so on...great fun. also rather cute when combined with different note delay values :) grtz Chiel
