Analogue-sequencer

I interrupt this wish list for what probably has a very simple answer...

I just got my main and display boards back from Colin, so I've really had
only a few hours on my P3.

What I'm trying to do is set one of the tracks to play 16th notes, but only
11 of them - the last step being 11. Well, it is, kind of. What's happening
is that it is playing steps 1 - 11, then 1-5 again. So it is still playing
only 11 steps, but in a total pattern length of 16. I want it to go to step
11 then back to 1 again. You know what I mean.

I've been searching through the manual to no avail. have mercy on a
beginner.
