Re: Hammond Case

2003-08-06 by digitana2002

Hi Guys..I decided to join the list ..since there is some interest
in me engraving the cool walnut-ended Hammond cases for people.
First thing ..after eading some of the emails about prices for
these ..£47 for one case seems rather high. If my memory serves me
correct..I bought 2 of these which was less than 50 quid including
P&P. I bought them from Onboard Electronics:-

http://www.onboard-electronics.ltd.uk/html/products.htm

who are a distributor for Hammond Cases in the UK. I have bought
several types of Hammond cases of them before ..in small quantities
and withouty any problems re small orders.

There is a pricelist on the (US?) Hammond website I recall
downloading (cant find it right now)..which gives you the price of
all their cases in USD.

I have noted Paul's remarks concerning the labelling changes of the
P3 panel..I can easily implement them.

As regards the cost of ther service..for engraving + drilling all
holes and cutting out the LCD window I charge £25.00. The engraving
is fairly straightforward ..but drilling all those holes is rather
time consuming I'm afraid. Still, the powder coating of the panel
is an excellent surface to engrave and the letters come out very
crisply indeed. The above price includes any colour infill scheme of
your choosing.
