Hi all-- >I'm looking into having cases made by a local sheetmetal work company that >my girlfriend deals with. They do CNC laser cutting, and seem to be very >reasonably priced, for stainless kick plates anyway... >This is more with a view to making ready-built units, but I'll be happy to >sell cases to kit buyers if it happens. Please do keep us posted. That might be a nice way to go as well. I'm on the fence looking at either getting a rack panel made by Schaeffer and installing it into a wood box, or seeing if someone does a run of ready-to-use cabinets. Since I haven't yet ordered a panel from Schaeffer, I guess I'm still flexible! :-) I'm generally not seeing specific manufacturers' part numbers in the BoM, and was also wondering about US availability of those cool square button switches with the clear caps. I see 'only available from Maplin' on the page, and just wondered whether it'd be worth my while to try Mouser, Digi-Key, Allied & so on with a specific part number. Or is there a bulk order in the works that I could pay into...? :-) all the best from a rather warm and humid Baltimore, Frank
