Analogue-sequencer

hi everyone
 
for using the p3 with logicpro its importand to set midi clock send on both sequencers to off. then it works pretty fine (no double tempo and sync trouble stuff).
 
scale question:

i tested the fts function, but probably i didn't get that:
 
is it possible to set the note range for each pattern like min. c1 to maximum c4 (between all notes possible) or something? is it possible to force a pattern to the same notes, same velocitys and same gates as first note on the pattern? i tried to set the cc# number
for the upper knob row but i'm not able do it, its evertime cc# 0, any idea?

(colin, the p3 manual is fine but sometimes its hard to get the right function as a foreigner....;-)
