I've already done this, and laid out a PCB for it for a customised
ready-built unit.
I've uploaded the overlay and foil as PDFs to the files section at
Yahoo.
You need to replace the resistors R4 and R5 with wire links.
The output board then has a BC547 and BC557 configured as a
non-inverting buffer able to drive the 5 MIDI outs.
I dropped the DIN sync output on this board, so if you want multiple
outputs and DIN sync, I'll need to tweak it a bit.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
