There's a trick to aligning the keyswitches I found relatively recently... 0.6" DIP IC packing tube has a groove on the back that the switch caps fit into nicely. I place all the switches into the board, then clip on a length of IC tube along to top of all the keys. Holding it together, I turn over the board and hold it down onto the tube. The groove in the tube keeps all the switches in line while you solder. I hope this trick works with the Cherry switches, although I will try to get the holes in the PCB a tighter tolerance so they have less room to move out of line. Cheers, Colin f
