Hello to anybody listening,

Has anyone played about much with the aux D accumulator acting on pattern length. I was 
messing about with this last night getting some fantastic effects ( mixed in with some 
masking). 

I am a little baffled though on exactly what the numbers refer to for the pattern length. 
How are the values that i choose for pattern length in aux D scaled. I was using the abs 
values for pattern length along with the accumulator (step about 15) which ran up to max 
values (127) and then reversed. This took my pattern length through 1 to 16 steps, 
however i can not predict the pattern length changes. For instance it remains on a length 
of 7 say for 3 cycles of a pattern runs. It then steps to a length of 8 but only for one cycle.  

Can anybody tell me what the scaling is?

Oh that User guide Paul has written is really good. Well done to Paul. I think more worked 
examples of using auxiliary functions to do nifty things is what people will need when 
starting out with the P3. It can pretty tech, i just love it!
