auxD sending program changes?

2004-11-29 by roelp23

Hi,
While I was playing with the marvelous aux events,I noticed some
weird stuff. I use track 1&2 for controlling the bassdrum of my jomox
X base, aux A for event: rept note by length, AuxB for cc100 (tune of
Xbase bass) AuxC for cc101 (pitch of xbasebass), AuxD for cc102
(decay of xbasebass)For track 1 this works perfect, but when I do the
same thing with track 2, it seems that AuxD isn't sending cc's 102,
but program changes with value 1-127. I think that because Aux D
doesn't have any effect on the decay of the bassdrum, but instead the
jomox switches between it's internal patterns. The jomox has 64
internal pattern's and the values of auxD 1-64 corresponds with those
pattern's.
A while ago I noticed that when I send program changenr. 1 on the
same midichannel as the jomox the jomox internal pattern jumps to
pattern 1.
Does anyone know why my jomox reacts like that, and why there isn't
any problem with track1?
Cheers,
Roel
