I understand you can flatten down the raised bits and brush the panel to get
rid of them, but I wasn't considering a brushed finished anyway, as it is
more expensive and not as durable.
The choice to make is between anodised or painted. The anodising has to be
done before the standoffs are fitted, and though it does make the surface
harder, but there's no guarantee that there wouldn't be a slight visibility
of the pressings.
So I think a painted finish is the best option. Unless I change my mind ;-)
I'll need to discuss it with the factory.
