I have to say that the brushed raw finish looks great, and a few 
blems where the studs are welded doesnt bother or deter me.
BUT
It seems to me that they should be able to fit studs, and then brush 
the surfact to make them invisible.  Perhaps they are brushing the 
case before pressing the studs on?  At the shop I work at, we go to 
pretty far lengths to please the customers, even if it means we have 
to rethink or reinvent our processes.  For a plant that makes cases 
and panels, getting invisible studs shouldnt be an issue!  I would 
ask or demand them to see if they can do better.

Regardless, it looks great.  I really like how the back where the 
jacks are is recessed, and the provisions for wood endcaps.
