You can do something along those lines with the 'knob n to velo' event already - to over-ride the stored velocity on certain steps. There are additional events TBI, that will scale existing values by a knob, rather than over-riding the stored value. But I need to clear up some space for more events before I can do this. One of the ways I might free events is by combining all the 'grab ... trk n' and 'swap .. trk n' into single grab and swap events, where the value of the event specifies the track and the value to be swapped. I.e. 'grab value trk n' could take values of 'velo, trk 1', 'note trk 2', etc. The problem with doing that is that old saved patterns would need to be edited. Cheers, Colin f
