Fortunately SDCC 2.4 (the C compiler I use to build to P3 firmware) produces noticably more efficient code than the previous version. The current P3 test build is at 469 pages of a possible 492 in the original CPU, or 500 in the newer (pages being 128 bytes). So there's plenty room for the time being. The current release build is smaller than the test build too - I'm working on a simplified playlist edit mode, and transmission of controller messages from the knobs in play mode. > And then im wondering about older macines...
