Can I do > this with my hands now? :-) yup. the way i do it using auxes is as follows; - in pattern edit mode, set aux D to "rep*N by length", krank up all the knobs to max - i usually use the "sculpt" function to do this - & turn on every step.. this gives you the basic setup to get rolls. the speed of the roll depends on the length of the note. - setting aux C to "knob N to length" allows you to use one of the knobs to vary the speed of the roll in play-mode by varying the note-length. - setting aux B to "mask aux D, Kn>N" allows you to create weird breaks in the roll, or start the roll with a twist of a knob in play-mode. - setting aux A to "aux D = event N" gives you even more possibilities to get some variation going... auxes rock!! grtz Chiel
