It would need to rely on using an aux event to set the tbase (i.e. note length) for each step, with last step automatically calculated to adjust the pattern length. Another way to do it would be to start with tbase set to the shortest note length, and provide a way to enter notes and extend them across steps with ties. I'm going to add a tie soft-key to the arpeggio capture / step input mode for this. It will let you enter notes from a midi keyboard in step time, and press the repeat key to copy the most recent note to the next step, tied to the previous. I can't really remember how the 202 worked, I sold mine years ago, but I think this will be along similar lines. Cheers, Colin f
