.... I use func-edit to have a quick look at the track status, & maybe mute one or two so I can hear what I'm doing. but sometimes, when I'm a bit nagled especially, I forget which one of the tracks holds the pattern I'm working on. this is especially the case when two or more tracks are driving the same channel (i.e. percussion or polyphonic arrangements). could the track corresponding to the pattern being edited be indicated somehow? I've tried using my ears.... also, I have a weird thing happening. (no, not good.) I have all the notes in tracks two's pattern set up with an aux so that they will be xposed by track one. track one has one note (a C) in it, & is one step long. track two only has C's in it to start with.... when the aux is off, I get C's from both tracks. when the aux is on, track two starts playing B's instead. when there's a proper riff in track two, the whole thing plays flat. I'm sure I'm missing summat obvious here, but there aren't any other auxes or accumulators active in this part. I started from scratch. I will do so again & see if the same thing happens. aye. duncan.
