it is true that the P3 will return to Bar 1 every time you hit run...

however, if you are in Ableton Live and set a loop point...Ableton will seamlessly loop 
between these points while your P3 is running the show...

Great discovery from last night: if you have Reason running through Rewire...Reason will 
loop too without problems with the P3 as the master!!!

(this is absolutely huge...anyone who is a bigtime Reason user knows that...when syncing 
to the host software such as Logic or Ableton...Reason will quite often stop once it hits the 
end of a loop point...i love Reason and this issue was just killing me...it seems using the 
P3 as the master has solved it!!!)

p.s. Within this setup...you can also load software plugs such as Reaktor and it will 
perfectly sync as well (which as...as you might have guessed by now...also been a problem)

What the P3 is doing to my setup is just so splendid! if you are thinking about buying one 
do it!!
