That is certainly true of the auxes within a single track, and I recommend if you're modifying one track to do it from an earlier track, since they are processed in numerical order. You can affect an earlier track from a later one, although some events might not do quite what you expect, and it's easier to keep track of what's going on. For tricks involving the unmuting of tracks which will then start mangling other tracks, you should be looking at the 'push' and 'swap' events, and also the 'auxes to trk n'.
