i've never owned any TC gear, but a friend wanted me to demonstrate what
could be done with a PC-1600x, using his TC gear as a target. i was
impressed with how easy the TC gear was to control... no sysex, (N)RPNs,
etc... everything was just CCs, IIRC.
anyway, if the P3 can tweak the effect boxes, don't limit yourself to just
adjusting the delay time... there's feedback levels, distortions, LFO
speeds, etc that most modern effect boxes can handle via midi CC messages.
