I stand corrected on the NRPNs - I thought one of the major VAs was using them

that will never happen, I think Alesis just miscalculated that NRPN would take off and then it didn't. FYI the NRPNs work very easily and smoothly with an Akai MPC4000 sequencer - and you can smoothly modulate just about anything imaginable with em, so I think there is a technical and creative advantage. There's a few programmable CC#s on the A6 as well if necessary but NRPN on the P3 would be an a nice option even if only for us few A6 users
