I map the pan (cc10) onto summat else in my proteus boxes, but I too would like to be able to reassign the knobs globally, rather than chewing up all the auxes. I know, I know- I said I'd never need it... I've got all these midi controller boxes.... but it makes more sense to have it all on one control surface, & I use the keyboard for 90% of note-entry. (this is why my current live rig has a panel next to the p3 that's the same colour- schaffer blue- & has half of a drehbank behind it). duncan/r.m.i.
