I reviewed the MK1 in SOS yonks ago. Seem to recall liking it (the 
review will be online I expect). Bought a PerFourmer which is a good P3 
companion in many respects, despite being the barest of MIDI specs and 
having a limited note range.

Personally I've not found a drum machine I like better than the Korg 
ESX-1. With a couple of OS tweaks it'd be perfect but I don't think 
that's gonna happen.
