This has been discussed before, though I'm not sure if it was on the list.
'Pattern shifting' events would need the addition of a temporary pattern
position offset for each track.
As a rule aux events have to be non-destructive, and applying the shift to a
stored pattern on each step would be quite CPU intensive.
They're still on the possible-TBI list.
