The CPU only has a single serial interface. It's possible at some time I might work out a way to add the extra circuitry, but not a top priority at the moment. > Is there a function that enables you to trim all 16 > knobs with > just one pot all at once? The Sculpt function allows you to write in values with the DATA knob as the sequence plays. You hold the 'note' or 'upper' softkey while tweaking the knob, but if you just leave it still, the same value will quickly go into all steps. > also, when touching a knob for note selection . . > it always > seems to jump to a different note > just by slightly touching it .. One solution for that would be a pass-through knob mode, or relative mode. I haven't been pestered enough to do either of those yet (ducks). > last but not least .. the led level Meters. > are they arbitrary? ive not yet figured out exactly > What they > monitor. track 1 & 2's midi velocity? and they > stop working if the > velocity is lower than say 50??? they 've > seemed to be a > bit intermitent. . or maybe i am? In VU mode, on group shows odd track velocities, the other shows even. All velocities get added together, and as the result passes different thresholds, more LEDs light. Pressing STEP MODE will toggle through some other LED modes, one showing Gbar beat position, the other showing the countdown to Gbar reset in binary (easier to follow than it might sound...) > the P3 always leaves me with my jaw dropped in awe. > thanks colin!
