Play mode knobs use pass-through mode, so that includes both the mixer and
knobs values grabbed by events.
I wasn't going to implement it in pattern edit partly because I didn't think
there was much space left, but some things I've been working on recently
have saved a chunk of space, so maybe I will. 
Pass-through mode could be annoying without some way to defeat it, for
example, if the knob is in physical position 126, the 'stored' position is
0, and you want to move it the 127, it means nearly two full rotations
instead of a tiny movement...
I suppose FUNC+knob movement could enable immediate reponse.
