hi there,

that was a marvelous piece of software indeed. I had great fun with
that until my various trial versions ran out. IIRC Techno Toys had
some other bits of software which were pretty good too. If they're
available as shareware i'll keep my eyes peeled. 
as for other good free/shareware stuff, midiOX is excellent in all
sorts of midi-manipulation. And I have an Edirol UM-1SX USB 1-in/1-out
midi-interface which works fine and cost me something like 30 euro's.
