I must say I used to think playlists were a sorta clunky way of working,
when I first saw the P3. Since then I have used them more and more, and
find them great when working live. One trick, to make things more
interesting or complex, is to record into each pattern separately then,
while the music plays, build a new playlist with different repeats and
transposes, using the knobs. You can either change the playlist length
at the end when complete or as you add each step (pattern).
One day we'll do a video about all this stuff. Honist.
