ive just tried with my mam sq16 (exactly the same setup on live) and...

from the mam:

[start/stop] starts from bar 0
[start/stop] after this, stops
[start/stop] will then start again from bar 1
or [continue] will start from the stopped point (as id like with the p3)

it gets slightly odd then though, as a [start/stop] after a [continue] will
stop the mam, but not live, however, i have no idea whats actually passed,
as a [start/stop] thereafter (ie whilst live is still running, and the mam
stopped) will jump live back to exactly (havent tested the resolution, but
its definatly beats, not bars) where the stop was issued, and then both will
continue from that point.

Why live dosnt just stop, i dont understand, but at least im not getting
back to bar 1 every time, like i am with the p3.

So then, what am i doing wrong with the p3 then - why am i always back at
bar 1???
