I have a cs50 (a bit less backache, a bit less yamaha) but no midi on it. actually, this means you have to play it's own keyboard, which in some ways is a good thing. mine doesn't have the ribbon controller, & is a four-voice, single osc version of the cs80, with preset sounds. it does, however, have a manual mode (& I have schemos so I could, in theory, edit the presets), & then there's the aftertouch & the ring-mod.... not bad for 1975! it originally belonged to a touring air-force band in the US, & the lid still has the base's stencils on it. duncan.
