Re: What's your P3 layout...

Seems like my setup is also quite simple:

The P3 is my master and only sequencer. It goes through a miditemp
mp-44, which i use as midithrough and bank switcher, to an EMU E64
Sampler (for Drums), a Waldorf Pulse (for Bass), a MBase01, and a
ClaviaNordModularKeyb. The NordModular is synced to the P3, and the
MidOut of the NordModular (LocalOff) goes back into the P3, so i can
use the knobs to control also the Waldorf Pulse.

My Track-Layout is always the same:
1 MBase (Bassdrum)
2-4 E64 / NordMoular (all on Chanel 10 for Drums, but on different Notes)
5-6 NordModular (both on Channel 5, for playing with Meldoy Variations
on two Tracks)
7 NordModular
8 Bass

And most of the time i have one or two sequences in the Modular running.

By the way (and a bit off topic) i think about buying either an korg
esx or a machinedrum, but the machinedrum seems to be a bit overpriced
, on the other hand, it seems to have more things to play around,
than the esx. Any advice for me?

Best wishes,
Stoffel
