The MDrum SPS1 U/W's sampling capabilities are very limited, So I assume, although I do not own one, the Korg ESX has more advanced sampling abilities... If your looking for a great drum machine, just get the regular, non sampling SPS1, not the U/W, or if your looking for a great drum machine plus some simple sampling functionality go for the U/W.... just my 2 cents...
