did i buy the wrong fuse?

2006-10-25 by bambam4236

In looking for the fuse for the main PCB i followed the US BOM and
found the part number to be no longer available, mouser suggested an
alternative which was this
http://www.mouser.com/search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=TR1%
2fMCRW500MAvirtualkey50400000virtualkey504-MCRW-500MA

I realise now that the part i should have got was this
http://www.mouser.com/search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=MF-R050-0-
99virtualkey65210000virtualkey652-MFR050-LF

The one i got is described as a Axial Lead Non-Time Delay Fuses
125V .5A, Fast Acting Wire-in-Air
Whereas the part spec'd is described as Radial Lead Resettable
Fuses .5A 60V

Fuses are i guess something i havent come across so far in DIY synth
stuff so i'm not sure if this is a problem or not? i figured i
should ask before i powere the P3 on for the first time.

Thanks to all that helped me to get this finished by answering my
questions ;)
